Ryan Rendfrey, Hero Gear Founder and CEO, possesses a deep desire to make a difference. He is driven by family, faith and a relentless energy which has earned him the nickname “RENERGY.”
With over two decades of experience in marketing, business development and sales, Ryan leverages his energy and entrepreneurial mindset to deliver results.
With the Super Suit, Ryan has created a product for athletes – and anyone – who wants to get better,faster,stronger.
Ryan knows athletes are always looking for an advantage because he was an athlete and played throughout high school and college. The idea for the Super Suit came when he saw baseball players using weighted donuts during batting practice to increase swing speed.
His “aha moment” turned into a quest – “What if you can add weight to an athlete’s body to increase athletic performance?”
Ryan went to work on creating a weighted suit that would fit like a second skin without using gel, sand, plastic or metal inserts. He combined his entrepreneurial spirit with his athletic background which consisted of adding weight – usually in the form of a weighted vest – to increase the intensity of a workout.
Unlike a vest or ankle weights, the Suit Suit evenly distributes weight throughout the body.
The weighted fabric (now patent pending) of the Super Suit is composed of a proprietary blend of fibers that truly fits like a second skin and provides a greater range of mobility so athletes can execute dynamic movements.
Ryan is proud to introduce the Super Suit – the signature product of Hero Gear.
Hero Gear and Super Suit represent a milestone in the journey which, like many, things started with a dream. Married to his high school sweetheart and a father of four, Ryan’s family remains his constant source of inspiration.
